To date, we’ve tracked over 200 million tons of CO₂ through our platform. Our next milestone: 10,000 clients and one billion tons of CO2 under management .

About the team

You'll join Greenly's Climate Delivery team , a group of customer obsessed Climate Experts dedicated to guiding clients through their most strategic climate and sustainability challenges

We deliver high quality climate projects including carbon assessments, lifecycle analyses (LCA), SBTi trajectories, and CSRD support, helping organizations turn data and regulations into clear and actionable decisions.

As a team, we:

• Combine analytical rigor with a strong customer success mindset

• Progressively build the posture of trusted advisors for our clients

• Thrive in a fast moving, collaborative environment , sharing methods, scripts, and lessons learned

• Work closely with Customer Support, Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure our clients succeed and our methodologies stay robust

It is one of Greenly's most impactful client facing teams, with high expectations, complex projects, and direct influence on both client outcomes and product evolution

About the role

We're looking for a Climate Expert Intern to join our delivery team for a 6 month internship . This internship is designed as a genuine stepping stone, with the objective of offering you a permanent junior Climate Expert position upon successful completion.

You will be embedded in real delivery operations from day one. Not shadowing, but contributing. You'll work hand in hand with senior Climate Experts on client facing projects and internal process improvement initiatives.

Your mission will be to contribute to the end to end delivery of climate projects, support quality assurance, contribute to client success, and help improve the efficiency and scalability of our internal processes

In your first months, you will work on projects such as:

• Perform data quality checks on GHG assessments and LCA projects delivered to clients

• Support and progressively lead result presentation meetings

• Help design tools and templates enabling greater client autonomy on quality checks

• Contribute to standardizing LCA management workflows

• Support the consolidation and update of mitigation plans on our platform

• Take ownership of data collection, consistency checks, and analysis for a portfolio of clients

• Share feedback with our Product team to improve processes and tools

You will contribute to:

• Reliable and structured quality assurance across client projects

• Clear and accessible client facing outputs, turning technical results into actionable recommendations

• Process documentation reducing manual effort and helping the team scale efficiently

• Cross team alignment by sharing field insights and improvement ideas

What success looks like at the end of your internship

• You autonomously manage quality checks and deliver reliable outputs for real client projects

• You have led or co led several result presentation meetings

• You have contributed a concrete process improvement tool or template used by the team

• Clients and colleagues see you as autonomous, rigorous, reliable, and proactive

• You have built enough expertise and client posture to transition into a junior Climate Expert role

Skills to succeed

You'll thrive in this role if you:

• Are currently pursuing or have recently completed a Master's degree in engineering, environmental sciences, data, or a related field

• Are comfortable with numbers, data, and analytical thinking , and enjoy digging into datasets

• Have solid Excel skills (mandatory). Python, SQL, or BI tools are a strong plus

• Communicate clearly and simply, and can explain a complex methodology to a non expert

• Are curious about climate regulation and carbon accounting (GHG Protocol, LCA, SBTi, CSRD…)

• Are bilingual in French and English (C1/C1), both verbal and written ✨

• Are autonomous, rigorous, and comfortable working in a fast moving, evolving environment

You may also have:

• Prior exposure to climate frameworks or sustainability consulting

• Experience with Python, SQL, or BI tools

• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and organization
