Greenly was founded in 2019 by Alexis , Matthieu and Arnaud with one mission: make carbon management as essential as financial management .

Today, we are a global leader in carbon accounting , proudly B-Corp certified and part of the French Tech 120 . Our climate suite combines smart data collection with intuitive automation, helping companies measure, reduce, and report their emissions with ease — supported at every step by our in-house climate experts.

More than 3,500 companies in 20+ countries use Greenly to manage their climate strategy: from carbon assessments and life-cycle analyses to SBTi trajectories and compliance with CSRD and CBAM.

We are now a team of 200+ people from 40+ nationalities , based in Paris, London, Barcelona, and New York.

To date, we’ve tracked over 200 million tons of CO₂ through our platform. Our next milestone: 10,000 clients and one billion tons of CO2 under management .

About the role

Join our Finance Team and step into a role where spreadsheets meet strategy and where your impact is anything but invisible.

You won't just "do accounting", you'll help build, optimize, and scale the financial engine that keeps Greenly moving. We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, improving processes before they break, and partnering with teams across the business to make finance smarter, faster, and more scalable. If a perfectly reconciled account gives you a small sense of satisfaction… we'll probably get along well.

This is a full-time opportunity with real ownership, visibility, and room to grow within a fast-scaling company.

Your missions

Accounting & financial operations

• Own and manage day-to-day accounting operations with accuracy and reliability

• Perform and maintain bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with strong attention to detail ️

• Maintain clean and reliable accounting records and supporting documentation

• Help make invoicing faster, smoother, and increasingly automated

Audit & compliance

• Prepare audit files and coordinate with external auditors

• Ensure accounting processes and supporting documents are compliant and audit-ready

• Support finance controls and continuously improve the reliability of financial data

• Help structure and standardize accounting procedures as Greenly scales internationally

AI, automation & process improvement

• Identify inefficiencies and proactively improve finance workflows

• Contribute to automation initiatives and help reduce repetitive manual tasks

• Explore and leverage AI-powered tools to improve finance operations, reporting, and controls

• Support the implementation of scalable finance best practices as the company grows

• Help build a finance function that is increasingly data-driven, efficient, and future-ready

Cross-functional finance support

• Partner with teams across the company and become a trusted finance contact

• Support receivables follow-up and optimize collection processes ️

• Ensure supplier payments and expense reimbursements remain efficient and accurate

• Support responsible purchasing and sustainable spending decisions

• Help manage and track IT assets and company equipment

Skills to succeed

✅ Must-haves

• Professional experience in accounting, finance, or operations — ready to take full ownership from day one

• Analytical thinking combined with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset

• Clear communication skills and genuine enjoyment of cross-team collaboration ️

• Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments and prioritize effectively under pressure

• Curious, proactive, and continuously looking for ways to improve processes

• Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture

• Fluent in French and English (C1 level minimum)

➕ Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ERP systems, finance tools, or automation workflows ✨

• Exposure to a B2B SaaS or fast-growth startup environment

• Familiarity with AI-powered finance tools or process automation platforms

• Experience in an international or multi-entity finance environment
