Role Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and operationally minded Financial Services & Administration Senior Specialist to support Lucid France. The role serves as the local owner of Financial Services operations within France, ensuring alignment between customer experience, regulatory compliance, lender partner requirements, and commercial objectives. In addition, the role provides local governance, reporting, supplier administration, entity governance, and operational support activities required to support the efficient operation of the French market.

As part of Lucid's National Sales Company (NSC) model, the position acts as the primary interface between Lucid France, Lucid Financial Services Europe, financial services providers, retail partners, and key operational stakeholders. The position reports to the France Country Director, with a strong functional reporting line to the Manager, Lucid Financial Services Europe, ensuring alignment with Financial Services strategy, lender partner requirements, regulatory compliance, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Services Operations & Customer Support

  • Act as the primary Financial Services point of contact in France for approved finance and leasing products.
  • Support customers, retail teams, and partners throughout the financing journey, ensuring a premium customer experience while operating within approved lender and mandate requirements.
  • Coordinate financing-related escalations and partner interactions to support timely issue resolution and effective customer outcomes.
  • Monitor Financial Services operational performance, customer experience, and process effectiveness, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Financial Services Governance & Regulatory Compliance

  • Act as the local operational owner for Financial Services governance, intermediation activities, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Support ORIAS registration, annual renewals, professional capacity requirements, regulatory documentation, and mandated training activities.
  • Ensure customer disclosures, product communications, sales processes, and marketing activities are delivered in accordance with applicable mandates, conduct standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain governance records, controls, audit evidence, training documentation, and escalation processes supporting Financial Services activities

Financial Services Product, Campaign & Partner Management

  • Coordinate local finance campaigns, promotional programs, and product launches in partnership with Financial Services providers, Marketing, Compliance, and European stakeholders.
  • Support implementation and ongoing management of approved retail finance, leasing, and Financial Services products.
  • Manage Financial Services partner relationships, service reviews, operational performance, and issue resolution activities.
  • Coordinate product, process, disclosure, and customer journey changes to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.

Financial Programs & Wholesale Funding

  • Support implementation and operation of Financial Services programs, including wholesale funding and inventory finance arrangements where applicable.
  • Coordinate operational requirements between financial institutions, retail partners, Sales Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor utilisation, reporting, documentation, funding performance, and operational exceptions.
  • Support finance program funding, subvention administration, approvals, and financial partner settlement processes.

Customer Lifecycle & Retail Enablement

  • Support financing application processes, customer documentation requirements, and operational coordination with financial services providers.
  • Coordinate in-life customer enquiries, complaints, end-of-term activities, lease returns, and retention initiatives.
  • Provide Financial Services training, guidance, and support to retail teams and partners.
  • Maintain training records, approved materials, and competence requirements supporting regulated activities.

Business Administration & Entity Governance

  • Support local entity governance, statutory requirements, regulatory filings, and corporate administration activities.
  • Coordinate supplier management, contract administration, purchase orders, invoices, and administrative service providers.
  • Maintain governance documentation, operating procedures, records, and local compliance controls.
  • Support procurement, expenditure controls, and operational administration activities required to support the French market.

Reporting, Controls & Governance

  • Prepare Financial Services, governance, compliance, and management reporting for local and European stakeholders.
  • Monitor Financial Services KPIs, partner performance, controls, regulatory obligations, and governance activities.
  • Support governance forums through KPI tracking, issue management, performance reporting, and action follow-up.
  • Coordinate audits, compliance reviews, regulatory requests, and control monitoring activities.

Systems & Data Management

  • Coordinate Financial Services and local business systems with European functional teams, technology partners, and service providers.
  • Maintain data quality, reporting integrity, access controls, and compliance requirements across Financial Services activities.
  • Support system enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum formal requirements:
    • Education: relevant degree e.g. BTS, DUT, DEUG or DEUST (Level 5) in Finance, Banking, Insurance, Accounting or Economics, or
    • 6 months of professional experience in functions related to performance of banking transaction or payment services obtained during 1.5 years preceding application for this role, or
    • Professional training performed by bank/financial institution or training organization selected by OBSP
  • 5 years of professional experience, preferably in automotive finance, finance & insurance gained in car sales organization (dealer, OEM, importer)
  • Experience within automotive finance, leasing, captive finance, banking, regulated financial services, or related industries.
  • Experience operating within regulated Financial Services, lender-mandate, intermediation, compliance, or governance environments.
  • Strong understanding of retail finance products, leasing, wholesale funding, customer financing journeys, and Financial Services operations.
  • Experience working with external financial institutions, commercial partners, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting reporting, administration, compliance, controls, or business operations within a matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Financial Services, CRM, reporting, and operational systems.
  • Fluent in French and English.

Professional Capacity & Eligibility

  • Must satisfy the applicable professional-capacity requirements required to support regulated Financial Services and IOBSP activities in France.
  • Eligibility may be demonstrated through an accepted diploma, qualifying professional experience, and/or approved professional training in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining all registrations, certifications, and supporting documentation required to support ORIAS and regulatory compliance obligations.
  • Must successfully complete all required Financial Services compliance, conduct, and governance training.

Success Measures

  • Achievement of Financial Services penetration, application, conversion, and funding objectives.
  • Compliant operation of Financial Services activities in accordance with lender mandates and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective execution of finance products, campaigns, customer journeys, and wholesale funding programs.
  • Customer satisfaction, partner performance, and service level achievement.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of governance, compliance, operational, and management reporting.
  • Effective administration of local governance, supplier management, entity-support, and control activities

Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
