ESG consultant (German speaker) - based in Paris

📢 We are looking for a German-speaking ESG Consultant to join our ESG team and, in the long run, become the lead ESG consultant for the DACH market.

Your role: act as Greenscope’s lead consultant supporting our German-speaking clients — investment funds and corporates — in their sustainable transition.

Vos missions

Your missions

• Support a diverse client portfolio (PE/growth/infra funds and corporates): onboarding on the platform, training sessions, monitoring usage, and providing day-to-day support.
• Analyze and ensure the reliability of ESG data: consistency checks, carbon footprint assessments, biodiversity footprint calculations, double materiality analyses; carry out ESG diagnostics and due diligences; synthesize findings into regulatory reports (Art. 29 LEC, SFDR, Taxonomy, EET, SDGs, etc.).
• Support the Sales team in developing the DACH market: provide ESG expertise for sales materials; join commercial meetings alongside the Sales team.
• Co-design Greenscope’s future features: work closely with the Product team to transform client needs into solutions; innovate to address tomorrow’s ESG challenges.

🎯 Qualifications and skills:

• Strong interest in environmental and sustainability issues
• Keen interest in tech
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
• Comfortable handling and analyzing data and numbers (Excel proficiency)
• German: C2 / English: C1 / French : C1

🧑‍🏫 Education and experience:

• Master’s degree from a top business or engineering school
• 1 or 2 years successful experience in finance/ consulting and/or the ESG sector
