User Acquisition - Region Lead

amo
Paris

Role Overview

We are seeking a growth specialist to join our Distribution team and lead user acquisition across a full region.

In this role, you will act as the Regional Lead , owning the growth strategy, managing the budget, and driving execution across multiple markets to hit DAU targets. This role requires a strong balance of data analysis, operational rigor, and cultural fluency to ensure our strategy is effectively adapted across diverse local contexts.

You are:

  • Data Obsessed: You don’t just look at top-line metrics; you go deep into cohort analysis, retention curves, and granular performance data to understand why growth happens.

  • A UA Expert: You have a proven track record of hitting DAU and growth goals for mobile apps. Experience in social or dating is a strong plus.

  • Regionally Minded: You know how to adapt global strategies across multiple markets, balancing regional consistency with local relevance.

  • Operationally Excellent: You are comfortable managing significant budgets, coordinating with external partners or freelancers, and keeping multiple workstreams moving at once.

  • Rigorous & Detail Oriented: You have high standards and strong execution discipline.

  • Willing to Travel: You are ready to travel frequently across your region to oversee operations and stay close to market dynamics on the ground.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Campaigns & Budget: Oversee a substantial UA budget across channels such as TikTok, Google, Meta, and any other channels that prove effective across your region. You will make fast, data-driven decisions to maximize efficiency and volume.

  • Analyze Creative Performance: Act as the bridge between data and content. You will identify creative trends, surface market-level insights, and provide the content team with actionable feedback on what resonates across different audiences.

  • Own Regional Strategy: Define the growth roadmap for your region, ensuring strong alignment between paid acquisition, creative production, local activations, and broader company priorities.

  • Drive Local Market Insights: Stay ahead of competitors, user behavior shifts, and cultural trends across your region. You should develop a sharp understanding of the nuances of each market you oversee.

  • Scale What Works Across Markets: Identify repeatable growth levers, share learnings across countries, and build systems that allow strong ideas to travel effectively from one market to another.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in user acquisition for mobile apps.

  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets including retention, cohorts, and funnel conversion to drive strategy.

  • Proven ability to manage and optimize high UA budgets.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, creative, and marketing teams.

  • Strong understanding of how growth strategies need to adapt across different markets within a region.

  • Must be willing to work in person in Paris.

  • Professional fluency in English is required. Additional language skills relevant to the region you would lead are a strong plus.

Life at amo:

To ensure that everyone is set up for success within our way of working, we work together onsite 5 days a week. We wanted to make sure coming to the office is as comfortable as possible for you:

  • We chose a location in central Paris, near Opera (Metro lines 3,8,9 and RER A).

  • We have a beautiful Parisian-style office with high ceilings, balconies, and huge windows. So a lot of natural light!

  • We reimburse your commuting expenses 50%.

Because life outside of work should also be stress-free, we cover:

  • Health care (100% coverage).

  • Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, Second Parent Leave (salary maintained at 100%).

We shut down entirely twice a year, two weeks in the summer and one week in the winter to allow everyone to truly recharge and to avoid prolonged slowdowns (especially in the summer). This enables everyone to actually disconnect and enjoy their vacation. No Slack, no email, no FOMO. Per French standard, we also offer another 4 weeks to allow team members to choose when they want to take time off.

We love the diverse perspectives we get from having people from all over the world join us, and so we of course support relocation to Paris with:

  • Help and sponsored visa process.

  • 1 month of Airbnb 100% covered by amo upon arrival.

  • Assistance from Settlesweet to find your permanent home.

  • Help with french paperwork like opening a french social security account, tax forms and more.

  • French lessons to be fully set with your new Parisian life.
