Operations Manager - KYB & Monitoring (F/M)

What is the role of an Operations Manager – KYB & Monitoring at Fipto?

As Operations Manager at Fipto, you will be responsible for how KYB and transaction monitoring are executed at Fipto, both in day-to-day operations and in how the underlying processes are structured and improved.

The role combines hands-on execution on complex cases, ownership of processes and workflows, and continuous improvement of how the team operates.

Here are your missions:

Core operations & compliance

• Own KYB/KYC processes end-to-end, including corporate clients with complex structures

• Own transaction monitoring (fiat and crypto): alert review, escalation and decisioning

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (AML, Travel Rule, etc.)

• Maintain a strong control environment with fast issue detection

Partner management

• Manage relationships with our KYC/KYB providers, screening tools and transaction monitoring providers

• Challenge and optimise providers on coverage, false positives and costs

• Act as the main operational point of contact with partners

Automation & AI

• Identify all manual processes and systematically reduce them

• Use AI tools to optimise KYB reviews, prioritise monitoring alerts and improve operational workflows

• Build internal tooling

• Push for an AI-first operations mindset across the team

Your Future Team:

You will work under Bertrand, your future manager and also one of Fipto's co-founders and COO.

You will also work closely with:

• Gregoire and Patrick, Fipto's co-founders

• Chelsea, your teammate, more on the settlement part, and two interns

• The Sales team composed of Valentin, Charlotte

• The Compliance team composed of Ivaylo and Lyazat

About You:

Must-have:

• You have 5+ years' experience in middle office / operations, or in compliance / AML / transaction monitoring

• You have strong, hands-on experience in KYB/KYC and transaction monitoring

• You have worked with external providers (KYC, screening, monitoring) and know how to challenge and optimise them

• You have a strong operational mindset and understand how flows actually work

• You are comfortable with data and tooling

• You have experience in payments or stablecoins

• You actively use AI tools in your daily work and think in terms of automation, leverage and reducing manual workload

• You are not afraid to redesign processes from scratch

• You are structured, rigorous and execution-driven, with high ownership

• You are able to make decisions under uncertainty

• You are comfortable interacting with partners and internal stakeholders

• You are fluent in English

• Experience building internal tools or automations

• Debrief interview with Bertrand (1h, video, or at the office)

• Final interview with Patrick, our CEO (45 min, video or at the office)

Lastly, Salary and Benefits of Joining Us:
