Due to continued growth within the perishables sector, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Air Freight Perishables to drive commercial expansion across France and Europe.This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization where you'll play a key role in developing strategic customer relationships within the fresh produce, agri-food, seafood, and temperature-controlled logistics markets.The RoleAs Business Development Manager - Air Freight Perishables, you will be responsible for growing import and export volumes, identifying new business opportunities, and developing long-term partnerships with customers that require specialist air freight solutions for perishable products.Working closely with operational, pricing, and customer service teams, you will ensure the delivery of best-in-class logistics solutions while driving profitable revenue growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and expand air freight import and export business within the perishables sector.Identify, approach, and secure new customers across fresh produce, fruit & vegetables, seafood, flowers, and agri-food markets.Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, importers, exporters, distributors, and key industry stakeholders.Develop tailored logistics solutions that meet customer requirements for temperature-sensitive cargo.Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation, onboarding, and account development.Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the perishables logistics sector.Prepare commercial proposals, tenders, and pricing solutions in line with customer requirements.Deliver against revenue, volume, and profitability targets.What We're Looking ForEssential RequirementsProven experience in business development within international freight forwarding.Strong understanding of air freight operations and temperature-controlled supply chains.Established network within the fresh produce, fruit & vegetable, seafood, agri-food, or perishables industries.Demonstrated track record of winning new business and achieving commercial growth targets.Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and international environment.Fluency in French and English.Preferred ExperienceExperience selling air freight solutions for perishable products.Knowledge of import/export regulations and cold chain logistics.Existing network across France and broader European perishables markets.What's on OfferOpportunity to join a rapidly growing international logistics organization.Access to a global air freight network and industry-leading solutions.High level of autonomy and visibility within the business.Competitive salary, bonus structure, and benefits package.Clear opportunities for career progression within an international environment.If you are passionate about developing business within the perishables logistics sector and have the industry network to make an immediate impact, we'd love to hear from you.
