Your Job

Join our team to build the core of our systems and applications. Your code will have a direct impact on the services that power our platform as it constantly evolves towards a shared microservices architecture. We are looking for a pragmatic individual who enjoys shipping robust, functional code and understands that best practices are refined through iteration.

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performing APIs using PHP and Symfony.
• Enhance and optimise API performance for reliability and speed.
• Implement and uphold security best practices in API development.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to ensure longevity and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.

Your profile for this job

• 5+ years in PHP development, with 3+ years focused on building APIs.
• Expertise in RESTful API design and principles.
• Proficiency with version control systems (preferably Git) and experience in CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerisation (e.g., Docker).
• Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka).
• Experience designing APIs for analytics or statistical data.
• Strong understanding of database optimisation and query performance tuning.
• Knowledge of adtech or online advertising industries.
