Discover the Role

The Accounting&Tax Manager supports and, in conjunction with the Head of the Accounting Department and the other Managers, manages a team, ensuring that all client work within the portfolio is delivered on time and to a high standard in order to meet the firm's targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, evaluate and motivate team members; recruit and train team members in accordance with company policies; and ensure internal procedures are followed;
  • Manage the Supervisor's work on the firm's client portfolio: maintaining the firm's clients' accounts, preparing monthly and/or annual account, preparing tax returns, reporting according to French Standards or IFRS.
  • Manage client relationships, handle complaints and ensure regular communication to maintain positive relationships with clients;
  • Ensure the effective administrative operation of the department, including leave management, invoicing, collections, relationships with other teams, and various internal projects;
  • Monitor client relationships and ensure they are effectively managed within the team, acting as a point of escalation for service delivery issues;
  • Build, embed and manage a robust compliance and governance framework, processes and controls, in accordance with relevant regulations and best practices;
  • Recognize the strategic importance of revenue, profitability, chargeability and client relationships, and effectively apply this understanding to daily tasks while ensuring team members are aware of these considerations according to their level, responsibilities and tasks;
  • Proactively develop relationships with clients and securitization counterparties and provide teams with client feedback to support service improvements;
  • Contribute to business development as required;
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing systems, procedures, corrective actions and processes;
  • Monitor client relationships and ensure they are effectively managed within the team, acting as a point of escalation for service delivery issues.

Key Requirements

  • Holds the Expert-Comptable licence;
  • Fluent knowledge of English (C1);
  • Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting, or a comparable level achieved through relevant experience and exposure;
  • At least 7 years of experience in outsourcing firms or multinational organizations;
  • At least 5 years of experience coaching junior staff members and managing team members;
  • Operational excellence;
