Your Missions

1. Build Scalable & Reliable Architecture

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable end-to-end features (specification, development, testing, documentation, support)
Drive architectural decisions supporting long-term business growth
Ensure optimal resource consumption, clean code, automated testing, and CI/CD best practices
Oversee API, data model, and microservices performance optimization

2. Collaborate Cross-Functionally

Act as a technical partner to Product Managers to align business goals and technical feasibility
Work closely with DevOps to ensure platform stability and efficient deployments
Facilitate technical discussions and drive knowledge-sharing across engineering teams

3. Improve System Performance & Reliability

Lead continuous improvements in performance, observability, and fault tolerance
Drive refactoring initiatives and reduce legacy risks
Ensure security and compliance are embedded in development practices

4. Mentor & Lead Engineering Teams

Serve as a technical reference and mentor for engineers
Set and enforce high standards for code quality, documentation, and development practices

5. Drive Team Growth & Talent Development

Play a key role in hiring, technical interviews, and talent assessment
Contribute to onboarding, continuous learning, and career development
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• good computer science fundamentals knowledge

• good frontend development skills (at least one SPA framework, preferably React.js)

• good backend development skills (python or kotlin preferred) and relational database knowledge

• excellent software development skills and the ability to write performant code that can be as modular as possible

• excellent communication skills (English and French)
