Business Analyst SAP Finance W/F

Job description:

The Group Information Systems Department is looking for a SAP Finance Business Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Group IS Solutions and working closely with IT and business teams, the Group IS Applications Manager will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance and development of the applications under his/her responsibility. He/she will manage and administer applications on an international scale and actively contribute to the optimization of the Group's IS solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordination and Teamwork

- Ensure application of security procedures and project management methodologies defined by the IT Department.

- Comply with information systems architecture and urbanization standards.

- Ensure the implementation of IS strategy within its scope and promote the IT Department's achievements.

- Manage external and internal contractors, guaranteeing quality and compliance with deadlines and costs.

- Ensure regular reporting and alert in the event of project drift.

- Monitor project progress, budgets and remaining workloads.

2. Run and Operational Missions

- Provide level 2 support for applications under responsibility, and resolve incidents within defined deadlines.

- Manage and resolve problems by eliminating root causes.

- Manage accounts and access rights in collaboration with the business units and in compliance with security rules.

- Check and guarantee the quality of TMA services and the smooth operation of interfaces.

- Maintain and update application documentation.

- Manage the budget for licenses, maintenance and associated services.

3. Projects and Continuous Improvement

- Support and advise users on business process optimization and application use.

- Manage application upgrades (needs analysis, specifications, production launch).

- Manage and implement IS projects in line with business objectives and methodologies.

- Manage resources and suppliers, monitor risks, and guarantee the quality of deliverables.

- Keep application mapping and urbanization repository up to date.

- Propose and implement continuous improvement actions and maintain a technology watch.

- Participate in the S4HANA migration project.

Your profile :

o Degree in computer science (Bac+5) or Bac+2 with significant experience.

o Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position.

o Knowledge of the SAP FICO module.

o Good knowledge of market IS applications.

o Knowledge of project management methodologies, ideally Prince2.

o Good understanding of industry, ideally metallurgy (vocabulary, flow management, Lean management).

o Excellent analytical and writing skills.

o Good communication and teamwork skills.

o Fluent English required.
