The Role
As an Onboarding Specialist on the People Operations team, you will shape the experience for every new joiner at Mistral worldwide. Your work will ensure new team members feel prepared and welcomed from the moment they accept an offer, through their first weeks and beyond. You will partner closely with colleagues across Talent Acquisition, IT, and Workplace to ensure each onboarding is seamless, consistent, and tailored to local needs. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on employee experience and to continually shape our processes as we grow.
What You Will Do
Design and manage the onboarding journey for new hires across multiple regions
Develop, implement, and improve onboarding programs and resources for the organization
Ensure equipment and resources are ready before each employee’s start date
Organize, coordinate, and facilitate onboarding sessions, orientations, and integration milestones
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to keep onboarding processes aligned and effective
Measure onboarding effectiveness and use data to improve programs
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive scalable solutions
Manage travel, transportation, and accommodation logistics for new joiners needing support
What We're Looking For
Experience delivering onboarding or employee programs end to end
Strong project management, organization, and communication skills
Comfort working across teams and adapting to new tools and workflows
Ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and implement change
Analytical approach to tracking outcomes and improving processes
Hands-on attitude and willingness to take ownership of daily tasks
Confidence navigating HR technology (HRIS, payroll, or similar systems)
Desire to create a welcoming, consistent experience for every new colleague
