MOBEN & ROOSTER is a French company specializing in engineering consultancy and software solutions for complex industrial projects .

We support major players in the energy and process industries on projects in France and internationally, with particular expertise in the critical phases of construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up .

As part of our collaboration with SPIE GSE , we are currently looking for a Commissioning Superintendent Engineer to join the CEYHAN Project in Turkey , a major project within the petrochemical industry.

Your Role

Reporting to the project Commissioning Management team, you will play a key role in the preparation, coordination and field supervision of commissioning activities .

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating pre-commissioning and commissioning activities within your assigned scope;

• Organizing commissioning teams and coordinating day-to-day activities across the different disciplines;

• Ensuring that activities are performed in accordance with the project’s commissioning procedures, priorities and sequences ;

• Coordinating interfaces between Construction, Commissioning, Engineering and Operations teams;

• Ensuring systems and subsystems are ready prior to their handover to the commissioning teams;

• Participating in system completion, turnover and handover activities;

• Supervising functional testing and the various operations required for successful commissioning;

• Managing punch lists , identifying critical issues and coordinating their resolution;

• Ensuring full compliance with HSE and Quality requirements throughout commissioning activities;

• Monitoring daily progress and anticipating requirements in terms of manpower, equipment and resources;

• Participating in coordination meetings and providing accurate progress reporting to the Commissioning Manager;

• Supporting start-up preparation and assisting the teams during plant start-up.

Your Profile

You are an experienced Engineer or Senior Technician with a strong background in commissioning on major industrial projects , including significant experience in field supervision and coordination positions.

Previous experience within the petrochemical industry is mandatory .

Experience with Polypropylene (PP) and/or Polyethylene (PE) units would be a significant advantage.

You have a strong understanding of pre-commissioning, commissioning, system completion, handover and start-up preparation activities.

You are accustomed to working on large-scale international construction sites and are comfortable coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing interfaces between different stakeholders and driving activities in line with project priorities.

Strong field leadership, problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues will be essential to succeed in this position.

Professional/fluent English is mandatory , as the assignment will be carried out in a fully international environment.
