Job Description

How about you?

The Core Infrastructure Team is looking for a new apprentice in Infrastructure Engineering for living thrilling adventures. You will help us to provide reliable, performant and secure services to guarantee the best Deezer Experience around the world in a resource-efficient way. You will work in a high traffic and high availability environment with interesting projects.

What you will do:

By joining the Core Infrastructure Team at Deezer, you will:

• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues across engineering teams

• Drive operational excellence by supporting RUN activities and systematically reducing toil through automation and tooling

• Shape our cloud deployment by contributing to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipeline, built on Kubernetes and Crossplane compositions

• Maintain platform health through proactive monitoring, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and fast incident response

• Raise the bar on quality by participating in code reviews and sharing infrastructure best practices with the team

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• You are ideally a second-year Master’s student.

• Experience 0 - 2 years

Essential

• Knowledge of GNU/Linux systems (we use Ubuntu)

• Experience with Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Helm

• Knowledge of Terraform and Google Cloud Platform

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, GKE and containerization (Docker)

• Experience with Monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Also required:

• Good communication skills and the capacity to adapt

• At ease in teamwork and sharing of work

• Autonomous

• Ability to learn, to be creative and innovative

• Fluent in writing well-documented procedures in english
