Le Groupe de Développement des Champs (GDC) fait partie de l'équipe Ventes et Marketing et est responsable de la gestion et de la coordination des études menées tout au long des premières phases de développement, notamment : la sélection des concepts et les études de faisabilité, la sélection des concepts et le concours d'études d'avant-projet détaillées (FEED) et de conception.

Le GDC joue également un rôle essentiel dans le soutien aux efforts de conquête de marchés à court, moyen et long terme, contribuant ainsi à façonner l'avenir de Subsea7 en : participant à l'élaboration des plans de prospection ; soutenant l'établissement du plan d'affaires de GPC Est en contribuant aux évaluations de marché, à la définition et à la dimensionnement des prospects, et en soutenant l'équipe d'intelligence de marché ; établissant un réseau de relations clés avec nos partenaires et clients afin de faire évoluer les attentes et les solutions régionales.

Principales responsabilités

L'ingénieur principal du GDC relève du responsable du GDC Est et est chargé de soutenir les activités de prise de contact initiales en collaboration avec ce dernier.

L'ingénieur principal du GDC est responsable de :

• la définition des systèmes et des solutions des prospects de nos clients en collaboration avec notre équipe Ventes et Marketing ;
• la réalisation d'études techniques et/ou économiques liées aux technologies SURF, à la R&D ou à la transition énergétique.
• Conformément aux principes opérationnels de FDG et sous la direction du responsable du groupe de développement des champs, vous apporterez votre soutien à notre équipe de prospection pour l'évaluation de nos perspectives (constructibilité, plan d'exécution, estimation budgétaire, analyse concurrentielle, etc.).
• Vous coordonnerez ses activités avec les autres fonctions spécialisées impliquées (ingénierie, SCM, groupe Pipelines, etc.) et contribuerez au développement de nos outils de planification préliminaire.

Compétences requises

Ce poste requiert les compétences clés suivantes : une solide connaissance du développement et de l'exploitation des champs au niveau système ; la réalisation d'études de faisabilité, d'études conceptuelles, d'études d'avant-projet détaillé (Pre-FEED) et d'avant-projet détaillé (FEED SURF), ainsi que d'études de transition énergétique ; une communication efficace avec les parties prenantes internes ; la capacité à comprendre les facteurs de valeur globaux de la solution et leur impact sur les activités de Subsea7 ; et la capacité à collaborer avec les équipes Ventes, Développement commercial, Appels d'offres, Stratégie et Technologie et à les soutenir.

Qualifications et expérience :

Les candidats doivent posséder une compréhension avérée des facteurs de développement des champs sous-marins (architecture, systèmes, opérations).

• Ils doivent également avoir une bonne connaissance des enjeux et des enjeux liés aux installations offshore (pour le pétrole et le gaz et/ou l'éolien offshore).
• Une expérience de travail au sein d'une équipe multidisciplinaire serait un atout.
• La connaissance des solutions de transition énergétique, notamment le captage, l'utilisation et le stockage du carbone (CCUS) et les énergies renouvelables, est souhaitable mais non indispensable.
• Les candidats doivent être titulaires d'un diplôme dans une discipline pertinente liée à l'ingénierie sous-marine ou justifier d'une expérience équivalente.
• Excellentes compétences en communication orale, écrite et électronique, permettant d'identifier des solutions adaptées aux besoins des clients dans un environnement complexe.
• Capacité à faire preuve de flexibilité et d'esprit de collaboration pour interagir avec différents groupes et régions au sein de l'organisation.
• Intérêt pour les stratégies commerciales et d'entreprise.

• Curiosité et volonté d'apprendre, avec une capacité d'adaptation et de développement de nouvelles compétences.

Overview of role

The Field Development Group (FDG) is part of the Sales & Marketing team and is responsible for managing and coordinating study activity throughout the early development stages including:

• Concept Screening and Feasibility studies
• Concept Select
• FEED / Design Competition

The Field development Group is also taking an integral part in supporting the WIN effort in the short, medium and long term, therefore shaping the future direction of Subsea7 by:

• Actively contributing to the development of Pursuit Plans
• Supporting the establishment of the Business Plan of GPC East by contributing to the market assessments and Prospects definition and sizing, and supporting the Market Intelligence Team.
• Establishing a critical network of relations with our partners and clients, to mature the regional expectations and solutions

What will you be doing?

The Field Development Group Principal Engineer will report to the GPC east Field Development Group Manager , and will be responsible to lead early engagement activities in relation with the Field Development Group Manager

The Field Development Principal Engineer has responsibility for:

• Defining the systems and solutions of our clients prospect in conjunction with our S&M team.
• Delivery of technical and/or economic studies related to SURF, R&D or energy transition, as per FDG operating principles and under the Field Development Group Manager guidance.
• Supporting our pursuit team in assessing our prospects (e.g. constructability, execution plan, budget estimate, competitor analysis)
• Coordinating its activities with other specialized functions involved (Engineering, SCM, Pipeline Group...)
• Supporting the development of our Front End Planning tools.

What experience would we like you to have?

The role will require the following core capabilities:

• Solid Field Development & Operations Knowledge at system level
• Delivery of feasibility, conceptual studies, Pre-FEED & FEED SURF and Energy Transition Studies
• Effective communication with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to understand overall solution value drivers & impact on Subsea7 activities.
• Ability to collaborate with & support Sales, Business Development, Tendering, Strategy and Technology teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Candidates must have a proven understanding of SURF Field Development drivers (Architecture, Systems, Operations).
• Candidates shall have a good knowledge of offshore installation challenges and drivers (for O&G and/or offshore wind).
• Experience in interfacing with a multi disciplinary team would be preferred.
• Knowledge of Energy Transition solutions including CCUS and Renewables is desirable but not essential.
• Candidate should be degree qualified in relevant discipline related to the subsea engineering environment, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Good communication skills, oral, written, and electronic, to identify solutions in a complex environment that meet clients' needs.
• Able to demonstrate a flexible and collaborative approach to engaging across organizational groups and regions.
• Candidates should have a commercial and business strategy interest.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn with ability to adapt and develop new skillsets.
