The People & Culture team at Shine

At Shine, our People Experience team helps leaders and teams perform at their best while supporting the company through growth and change.

Within the wider People & Culture function, the team brings together People Business Partners , Centers of Excellence , and Workplace & Well-Being to build modern, fair and scalable people practices across the business.

Your role as a People Business Partner

As a People Business Partner for the Product & Tech organization , you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping them navigate growth, change, and organizational evolution.

You will report to the SVP People Experience and join a team of four People Business Partners supporting the organization.

This role sits at the intersection of people strategy and business impact . You will partner closely with leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness, develop talent, and support high-performing teams in a fast-moving environment.

At Shine, we are evolving People Business Partnering toward a more strategic, data-driven and business-focused model . In this context, you will help shape better ways of working and bring structure, clarity and impact to the teams you support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with leaders across the Product & Tech organization on people priorities, team effectiveness, and organizational health

  • Support organizational change and transformation , including team design, scaling, and leadership transitions

  • Drive key people topics such as engagement, performance, feedback, and career development

  • Contribute to the rollout and application of frameworks related to career leveling, compensation, and pay equity

  • Use KPIs and people data to identify trends, guide decisions, and improve performance over time

  • Help leaders navigate ambiguity, solve people challenges, and build resilient, high-performing teams

  • Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence and People Operations to ensure consistent and effective execution of people practices

📍 Job located in Paris, with possibility of two remote working days per week

✈️ Regular travel (around once per month ) may be required.

About you

  • You have around 5–7 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or a similar strategic people role

  • You have strong experience partnering closely with managers and senior leaders

  • You bring solid business acumen and understand how people decisions support business performance

  • You are comfortable using data, KPIs and insights to guide decisions and challenge constructively

  • You can explain complex topics in a clear, structured and pragmatic way

  • You are effective in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and can bring calm and clarity when things change

  • You have experience supporting organizational transformation, restructuring, or M&A transitions ; this is a strong plus

  • You are curious about how AI, data and technology are reshaping organizations, leadership and people practices

  • You are fluent in English and French
