Now, we're gearing up to conquer France. To help us build a category-defining brand and fuel our growth engine, we’re looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to join our executive team.

About the role

As CMO, you will be a key member of our leadership team, reporting to the CEO. You’ll lead all marketing functionsfrom brand and content to growth, community, and partnershipswith full ownership over our marketing strategy, budget, and outcomes.

You’ll oversee a small, agile team with a full time marketing manager and freelance partners, and be ready to do the work yourself until the team grows further. You’ll also play a central role in shaping the product roadmap and company trajectory.

Key responsibilities

1. Growth & performance marketing

• Own and execute our acquisition & conversion strategy: paid (Meta, Google, influencers, affiliates) and organic (SEO, community, referrals)
• Build and scale a performance engine: CAC, LTV, ROAS, payback periods
• Optimize channel mix and test new growth levers continuously. Understand, implement & follow mobile attribution frameworks to ensure accurate tracking and optimization

2. Brand & content

• Lead brand strategy, positioning, and visual identity
• Oversee content creation across formats and channels: social, blog, video, newsletters
• Ensure consistency and cultural resonance in brand voice and storytelling

3. Community & loyalty together with the Operations team

• Elevate the Poppins Club ambassador program
• Strategize UGC and community-led campaigns that scale trust and belonging
• Build retention and loyalty flows : CRM automation, onboarding, lifecycle messaging, loyalty programs

4. Strategic partnerships

• Source and manage brand and channel partnerships (co-marketing, media, schools, local orgs)
• Build strategic collaborations to grow brand awareness and deepen impact

5. Team & leadership

• Inspire, hire, and develop a high-performing marketing team over time
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Ops, and Tech
• Report KPIs, marketing ROI, and insights to the founding team and board
• Build an iterative marketing culture with strong feedback and learning loops
