Compliance Assurance Expert

Mission:

1. Compliance Control Framework
   1.1. Service to contribute to various compliance, data privacy and AI risk assessments across a leading global insurance group and its subsidiaries based in Europe, Asia and Americas. Service to ensure adequate reporting to the Senior Management and to the Group Compliance and Data Privacy functions. Service to guarantee escalation to Senior Management on a timely manner when deemed necessary.
   1.2. Service with contribution to the Compliance Assurance plan with the aim to control the alignment of the Compliance activities (implementation requirements, policies and procedures, trainings and awareness, etc.) with Group Standards and external regulations.
   1.3. Service to ensure strong alignment in terms of practices, control frameworks and control review with other control functions.

2. Regulatory Transformation
   2.1. Service to drive projects with the objective to accompany the Compliance & DP department in its transformation journey with regards to the need to comply with new regulations but also to improve technical capabilities (e.g. more automation, AI use cases, etc.).
   2.2. Service to report and escalate any relevant change in regulations subject to generate additional risks or needs inside the group's environment. Service to drive the change by leading transformation projects for the benefit of the Compliance & Data Privacy team and the other teams.

3. Global Governance
   3.1. Service for pilot and drive of strategic Compliance & DP deliverables to be reported to Senior Management and/or to Group functions and/or strategic committees. Service to ensure consistency between the different deliverables.

Technical Expertise:
• Service with proven expertise in Compliance, Risk Management or Internal Control practices
• Service with expertise in assessing risks, measuring impacts, and building mitigation solutions with partners
• Service with strong European compliance and technological regulatory expertise
• Service for design and direct operational implementation across departments
• Service with strong compliance / risk analytical expertise

Expertise:
• Service with 7+ years' solid expertise in Compliance, Risk Management and/or Internal Control in technology, insurance and/ or regulated sectors both in-house or from consultancy firm(s), preferably international entities
• Service with operational expertise on one or several of the following areas: General compliance, Financial Crime, International Sanctions, Risk Management, Data Privacy or Internal Control
• English working environment and English context - Mandatory
• French, Italian, German, Spanish environments and context - a plus
