Project Officer - IEA's Energy Technology Network
- the planning and priority-setting for IEA's support to the IEA Technology Colloboration Programme (TCP), in close collaboration with the IEA Chief Energy Technology Officer, and the internal TCP coordination team within the IEA Secretariat;
- oversee the coordination of the TCP's Request for Extensions, working closely with IEA's legal team;
- contribute to other projects that help facilitate co-operation among the TCPs, such as the TCP Co-ordination Groups;
- support the management of the IEA's Technology and Innovation Advisory Board;
- support activites related to TCP communication, in close collaboration with IEA Members, the TCPs, and the IEA Secretariat;
- planning and executing event management, including preparations of the biennial TCP Universal meetings and the IEA Energy Innovation Forum; and
- contribute to the organisation of Committee and Working Party meetings that are under the responsibility of the Energy Technology Policy Division.
- Support the coordination and reporting for the Energy Technology Policy Divisions participation in the IEA Clean Energy Transitions Programme (CETP);
- Support the Division with tracking financial voluntary contributions from external donors, and contribute with affiliated narrative reporting;
- Prepare procurements related to such as the hosting of events and the hiring of external consulants;
- Support the Energy Technology Policy Division with other project and processes to improve the division's effectiveness.
- Post-secondary level of education, preferably at university level or equivalent, in statistics, economics, public policy or technical subject relevant to energy or equivalent experience.
- At least five years professional experience in an energy related field.
- Broad experience with event management and communication.
- Experience and interest in project management, involving being part of a small teams to deliver outputs.
- Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.
- Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
- OECD staff are expected to demonstrate behaviours aligned to six core competencies which will be assessed as part of this hiring processes: Vision and Strategy (Level 1); Enable People (Level 1); Ethics and Integrity (Level 1); Collaboration and Horizontality (Level 2); Achieve Results (Level 2); Innovate and Embrace Change (Level 2).
- Has in-depth knowledge and significant experience to solve complex problems.
- This vacancy will be filled as soon as possible, and applications should reach us no later than midnight 19 December 2025 (CEST).
- Two-year fixed term appointment, with the possibility of renewal.
- Depending on level of experience, monthly salary starts at either 5785.84 EUR, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
