Learn more about Publicis Re:Sources and the Publicis Groupe agencies we support at publicisresources.com.Descriptif du posteAs part of the replacement of a senior team member and the continued transformation of the Finance Reporting Factory, Publicis Groupe is strengthening its internal Power BI and data architecture capabilities.We are looking for a Power BI Technical Lead & Data Solutions Architect to act as the technical authority for Finance reporting solutions. The role combines architecture ownership, technical leadership, governance, automation and selective hands-on delivery on the most complex topics.Primary objectiveDefine and drive the target architecture for Finance reporting, ensuring that Power BI solutions are scalable, automated, governed and aligned with the Group data strategy. The role will enable developers to focus on business value rather than recurring manual data maintenance.Role PositioningOwn how Finance Power BI solutions should be designed, integrated, governed and operated over the long term.Act as Design Authority for complex Finance reporting initiatives and validate technical designs before development starts.Provide direct visibility on technical progress, risks, dependencies, architecture decisions and remediation priorities.Remain hands-on for complex or strategic solutions, while guiding developers on standard delivery activities.Responsabilités Architecture Ownership & Technical RoadmapOwn the Finance reporting solution architecture across data sources, transformation layers, semantic models and Power BI products.Ensure alignment between Power BI, Data Platform, Data Engineering, IT and Finance requirements.Define integration patterns for trusted data sources, transformations, refresh, monitoring, security and support.Assess proposed solutions against scalability, resilience, performance, maintainability and total support effort.Identify technical debt, non-scalable designs and architecture gaps, then define pragmatic remediation plans.Guide the progressive adoption of Microsoft Fabric and other relevant data platform capabilities where they provide clear value. Design Authority, Governance & QualityDefine and enforce Power BI technical standards for Finance, including modeling, DAX, SQL, naming, security, deployment, testing and documentation.Approve technical solution designs before implementation for complex or business-critical initiatives.Lead architecture reviews and technical governance discussions with internal and offshore delivery teams.Promote certified semantic models, reusable datasets, standardized integrations and shared reporting components.Ensure clear data lineage, business definitions, ownership and support procedures are documented.Establish quality controls and release criteria to reduce defects, performance issues and avoidable rework. Technical Leadership & Offshore ChallengeAct as the technical reference and escalation point for the Finance Power BI team.Provide clear technical direction, constructive feedback and model or code reviews.Coach developers and raise team maturity across architecture, modeling, performance, automation and supportability.Lead resolution of complex technical issues and ensure root causes are addressed rather than relying on temporary workarounds. Data Integration & AutomationAct as the bridge between Finance, Data Engineering, Data Platform, IT and Power BI development teams.Drive automated or pre-configured ingestion, transformation and refresh processes.Reduce dependency on manually updated files and recurring weekly or monthly data preparation.Partner with Data teams to clarify source systems, transformation logic, data ownership and service expectations.Design governed pipelines and reusable data products that can support multiple Finance reporting use cases.Introduce appropriate monitoring and controls to improve refresh reliability and data quality.Ensure developers spend more time on insight, user experience and product improvement than on repetitive data operations. Complex Solution Delivery & Finance PartneringDesign and deliver complex or strategic Power BI solutions end-to-end when hands-on technical involvement is required.Build and optimize advanced semantic models, dimensional models and DAX measures for Finance use cases.Work with Global Functional Leads, GPOs and Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into sustainable solutions.Challenge requests when they create duplication, excessive maintenance or non-scalable one-off reporting.Explain technical choices, constraints and trade-offs in clear business language.Promote long-term product thinking, shared definitions and reusable reporting assets.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development, data modeling and enterprise business intelligence.Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, Solution Architect or equivalent technical authority.Advanced expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, semantic models, DAX and performance optimization.Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, data integration, transformation, refresh and automation principles.Experience designing solutions across Data Engineering and BI layers, not only developing report visuals.Strong analytical, problem-solving, influencing and stakeholder communication skills.Fluent English required.Preferred ExperienceExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Dataflows, SQL, Azure data services or comparable enterprise data platforms.Experience with Finance systems such as SAP Finance modules, HFM, Microsoft SQL Server or other ERP platforms.Understanding of Finance reporting, including P&L, costs, revenue, headcount and operational performance indicators.Experience establishing Power BI governance, deployment practices and reusable architecture patterns.Experience working in a global, multicultural and matrix organization.Informations complémentairesViva La Différence !Cette philosophie de Publicis Groupe témoigne depuis toujours de notre engagement pour la diversité et de la conviction que nos talents sont notre plus grande richesse et notre meilleur atout.Nous valorisons ainsi toutes les singularités, sans distinction d’âge, de sexe, de couleur de peau, d’origine sociale, de religion, ou d’orientation sexuelle… seules la compétence et l’énergie comptent !
