Iris Galerie is a fast-growing international retail brand transforming iris photography into unique works of art.

With a rapidly expanding network of galleries across multiple countries, our ambition is to become the global reference for personalized art and experiential retail.

To support this growth, we are looking for a Real Estate & Expansion Intern to join our team in Paris and work directly with the Head of Real Estate & Expansion.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of commercial real estate, retail expansion, franchise development, business development and project management .

The Role

As a Real Estate & Expansion Intern, you will support the Head of Real Estate & Expansion in developing Iris Galerie’s international network. You will contribute to identifying new locations, analysing market opportunities and coordinating new gallery openings.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to retail real estate, business analysis and international expansion within a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate & Market Research

• Research potential locations and high-potential markets in France and internationally.

• Identify new retail opportunities and support location sourcing with brokers, landlords and franchise partners.

• Analyse locations based on footfall, visibility, tourism and commercial potential.

Business & Financial Analysis

• Support the preparation of business cases for new gallery openings.

• Analyse rental conditions, opening costs and revenue forecasts.

• Prepare market research, financial analyses and presentations to support decision-making.

Project Management & Expansion

• Assist in coordinating new gallery openings, tracking timelines and key milestones.

• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects progress smoothly.

• Support the development of existing franchise networks and research potential new franchise partners.

• Maintain and update expansion tracking tools and reporting.

What We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Management or a related field.

• First internship experience, ideally in real estate, retail, consulting, investment banking, transaction services, strategy or a fast-growing company

• Strong interest in commercial real estate, retail and international business development.

• Analytical mindset with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint.

• Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
