Linguistic Program Manager, Data and Vendor Management
What You'll Do
- Support the sourcing and purchase of off-the-shelf and custom ASR datasets in coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Set up and manage audio data collection and QA projects using internal tools, including phrase pool creation, QA report review, and feedback consolidation.
- Coordinate the delivery of evaluation and commercial TTS voices from external providers, and help track license usage and expiration timelines.
- Manage Upwork contractor workflows: post jobs, screen applicants, handle contract setup via DocuSign, assign internal points of contact, and track contract timelines and payments.
- Collaborate with internal legal, finance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of purchase and service processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to track multiple workflows and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external partners across time zones.
- Tech-savvy and detail-oriented; experience with tools like spreadsheets, QA platforms, and freelance platforms (e.g., Upwork, DocuSign) is a plus.
- Experience or interest in speech technology (ASR/TTS) or data coordination is preferred but not required.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive mindset and a problem-solving attitude.
