The LSEG quantitative development group is responsible for implementing a wide range of models for securities valuation and risk management.

Our new major initiative is to expand our analytic offerings through partnership with Microsoft.

We're looking for a senior Software developer to build framework for rapid model development, backtesting, troubleshooting, and to expose model APIs in Azure or on-prem environments.

The candidate will work closely with quantitative research, DevOps, system engineers to develop scalable, reliable, and transparent model ecosystem.

This is a great opportunity to join a quantitative development team and get exposure to financial modelling.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop components for rapid model development framework

• Integrate new and maintain existing quantitative models in different environments

• Enhance the current toolset for model testing and troubleshooting

• Expose model API's in Azure

• Optimize model performance and memory utilization

• Maintain and enhance CI/CD infrastructure (GitLab / Jenkins)

• Perform code and design reviews

• Mentor junior team members

Requirements

• Self-driven, goal-oriented team player with good communication skills

• MS in Computer Science

• Ability to solve complex problems

• Strong object-oriented programming skills

• 10+ years of development experience in C++

• Strong experience with Linux environment and shell scripting

• Python programming

• Developing in Linux environment

• Knowledge of software delivery process (CI/CD, Agile methodologies)

• Experience with cloud (AWS, Azure) is a plus

• Knowledge of Fixed Income market/securitized products is a plus
