GLOBAL MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT BURBERRY BEAUTY – RETAIL EXPERIENCE
INTERNSHIP 6 MONTHS STARTING JULY 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Global Merchandising trainee you are in charge of support ing the Project Managers in the conception and design development of temporary in-store animations for fragrance & make up launches , in terms of visibility, image , retailtainment and consumer experience within the Merchandising team working on BURBERRY , GUCCI & MARC JACOBS .

You r main role & responsibilities:

• Support the project manager to brief and deliver the temporary and permanent in-store materials for multiple initiatives: Liaise with design agencies and Fashion House from creative brief to prototype, TDs and artwork production.

• Translate creative concept into technical briefs for material purchasing purposes or local production.

• Partner in producing adequate merchandising tools for all retail activities: from semi-temporary in-store materials retailtainment activations for the various distribution channels, on local markets and travel retail.

• Assist in project management, ensuring deadlines delivery.

• Prepare and write related merchandising & retailtainment guidelines.

• Conduct regular benchmarking and competitive analysis, organise brainstorming.

• Deliver the markets reports post-launch with data, analysis and field pictures.

• Update planograms using IWD software.

• Assist the whole Merchandising Team on daily tasks .

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to interact with cross-functional teams and learn about the beauty business environment and international trends. You get energy from working in a fast-paced and mutli -cultural environment. Other than that, you are:

• Master 1 / Master 2 student (in Business, Marketing, or Design)

• First experience in VM, Retail design or Trade Marketing in the beauty or luxury goods industry will be a plus

• Open-minded, creative, curious and aware of beauty & retail trends

• Proficient with MS Office. Adobe suite would be a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator or sketchUp)

• Ability to work autonomously and multitask in fast-paced collaborative environment

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Reliable and attention to details

• Strong communication & organizational skills
