Public Policy Manager (France)

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As Public Policy Manager you will collaborate closely with the Senior Public Policy Manager and Public Policy team to build and nurture city relationships, and influence critical regulatory- and political processes in line with our policy strategy in France. In this role you will focus on driving the strategic discussion with the publicly elected stakeholders in the cities where we are currently operating, and work continuously to expand our footprint and improve our position as the obvious choice for new cities tendering for micromobility services in France. This will include:

• Building and developing relationships, and driving the strategic discussion with local and national publicly elected stakeholders to improve Voi’s position.
• Driving outreach to new cities, assessing our position and representing Voi in influencing the public stakeholders to advance their position on initiating pilot and tender process for micromobility services.
• Monitoring and managing public opinion, promoting and defending our vision, position and actions in the public discussion (e.g. in newspapers and on social media platforms).
• Working continuously to ensure contractual compliance in cities we are operating, and supporting central teams with local perspective and knowledge in continued development and live tenders.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We’re looking for an analytical and independent public policy professional, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive strategic discussion with publicly elected representatives. In addition to this, we believe the right person has:

• A bachelor degree in political science, law, business or similar.
• Professional fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• 2+ years of professional experience in public policy.
• Experience working with publicly elected representatives.
• Experience from working hands-on with analysis of large data-sets.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present solutions to complex political issues in simple and and compelling messages.
• Structured and analytical approach to identifying trends and upcoming regulations and their impact.
