Software Engineer, Backend (Safety)
- Design and build highly-scalable, efficient, and robust trust and safety platforms and tools, including data tracking pipelines.
- Develop systems to enhance data collection, compliance, and safety processes.
- Create APIs and integrations with third-party services.
- Create intelligent workflows including automating complex decision-making processes.
- Understand product objectives to develop user-friendly platforms that align with operational needs.
- Ensure safety services have zero downtime and can scale as our user base grows.
- At least 5 years of experience in trust and safety tooling or content moderation systems.
- Proficiency in designing data structures, building algorithms, and at least one programming language (Go, Kotlin, C, or C++).
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated passion for user safety, human moderation, AI moderation, and operational efficiency.
- Experience with web development and frontend technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to online safety (DSA, etc.).
- Experience working with machine learning models and data pipelines.
- We chose a location in central Paris, near Opera (Metro lines 3,8,9 and RER A).
