The position is based in France .

Role Overview :

As Head of Brand & Communications at PayFit, you will shape and drive the evolution of our brand and communications across our European markets, with a strong focus on France (our core market).

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in defining how our brand vision comes to life across PR, social, and campaigns.

You will be responsible for structuring the function, driving operational excellence, and ensuring consistent, high-impact delivery across all brand touchpoints.

This role requires strong strategic judgment, executive leadership, and the ability to translate business priorities into clear, compelling brand initiatives.

You are expected to proactively identify opportunities, propose initiatives, and bring forward recommendations that strengthen PayFit’s brand impact.

Key responsibilities :

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop PayFit’s brand strategy across awareness, consideration, and advocacy and translate it into concrete, high-impact initiatives. to strengthen differentiation in the payroll and HR management space.

  • Lead the development and delivery of full-funnel brand campaigns connecting creative, distribution, and business objectives.

  • Ensure brand consistency and coherence across markets, especially France.

  • Drive measurable brand performance with clear KPIs and reporting.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure strong alignment and execution.

  • Proactively prioritize and arbitrate brand initiatives to ensure focus on the highest-impact opportunities.

Corporate Communications & PR

  • Develop a comprehensive PR and corporate communications strategy, with deep expertise in the French media landscape.

  • Shape executive positioning and ensure consistent, high-quality external visibility across priority markets.

  • Drive crisis communications and reputation management strategies when needed.

  • Manage media relations and agency partners.

Social Media & Reputation Monitoring

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance PayFit’s brand presence and engage with Company Creators & SME communities across platforms.

  • Proactively monitor reputation signals and lead timely, thoughtful engagement across platforms.

  • Strengthen executive advocacy programs and brand presence.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Brand & Comms team, including setting clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans for the team.

  • Collaborate with local marketing teams to tailor brand and comms strategies to country-specific needs.

  • Establish clear ownership, processes, and performance frameworks.

  • Bring structure, clarity, and prioritization to the Brand & Communications roadmap to ensure disciplined execution and focus.

  • Foster strong collaboration with Product Marketing, Growth, Revenue, Sales, and Design teams.

Qualifications :
  • 8–12 years of experience in brand and communications leadership roles.

  • Strong execution track record in high-growth or SaaS environments.

  • Deep understanding of the French market and media ecosystem.

  • Native or near-native fluency in French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong operational rigor and project management capability.

  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to coach and structure teams.

  • Experience working directly with senior leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.

Home office budget:
A contribution in € per year to help you get set up in the best conditions. A MacBook is our standard working tool

Parental support program : Salary maintenance during the first month of additional parental leave.


Time off:
25 days of holidays + RTT days (depending on the contract).
