Technical Specialist Document Processing & Digital Signature Technologies
We are seeking a knowledgeable Technical Specialist with deep expertise in Optical Character Recognition (OCR), document processing tools such as Callas and ABBYY, and electronic signature platforms. This role involves advising teams on best practices, integrating technologies, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting the implementation of automated document workflows. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to optimize document capture, processing, and authentication workflows. Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise & Advisory
- Provide expert advice on OCR technologies (ABBYY, Tesseract, etc.) and document processing tools (Callas PDF Toolbox, etc.)
- Guide implementation and integration of electronic signature solutions (DocuSign, Adobe Sign, etc.)
- Recommend best practices for document digitization, validation, and workflow automation
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies based on business requirements
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to design and deploy document processing and e-signature workflows
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to OCR accuracy, PDF processing, and signature validation
- Conduct testing, performance tuning, and quality assurance for document solutions
- Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials related to OCR and signature technologies
- Provide training and support to end users and internal teams on document processing tools
- Stay current with industry trends, standards (e.g., eIDAS, ETSI), and emerging technologies
- Proven experience with OCR platforms such as ABBYY, Tesseract, or similar
- Knowledge of document processing tools like Callas PDF Toolbox
- Hands-on experience with electronic signature technologies (DocuSign, Adobe Sign, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of document formats (PDF, TIFF), metadata, and digital signature standards
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience with automation tools and scripting for document workflows
- Familiarity with regulatory standards for electronic signatures and document security
- Prior consulting or advisory experience in document management solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical details for non-technical audiences
