Job background

We are looking for a passionate, proactive and experienced IT & DevOps Team Lead to drive our infrastructure and operations strategy and day-to-day activities.

Lead and oversee the company's IT and DevOps functions, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure and software delivery. Together with a team of two, drive automation, operational excellence, and compliance while managing and supporting IT & DevOps staff.

You will lead a small team while remaining hands-on, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT systems and DevOps pipelines. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to align technology strategies with business objectives, optimize workflows, and enhance system reliability.

You will play a key role in shaping our infrastructure, improving automation, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Job details

• Define and execute IT and DevOps strategy aligned with business goals

• Oversee cloud and on-premise infrastructure (design, deployment, maintenance)

• Ensure system scalability, availability, and performance

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

• Manage IT operations including support, system administration, and enterprise tools

• Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes

• Ensure security policies and compliance with industry standards

• Manage infrastructure budget, vendors, and service providers

• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to optimize workflows

• Lead, mentor, and support a team including a subcontractor and an apprentice

• Drive continuous improvement in tooling, processes, and reliability

Required qualifications, experience, and skills

Education

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in IT, infrastructure, or DevOps roles

• Minimum 2 years in a leadership or team management position

Technical skills

• Infrastructure / Cloud

  • Strong experience with Linux and Windows environments

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI, or similar)

  • Virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, ESXi)

  • Backup solutions (Veeam, Duplicity or equivalent)

  DevOps & Automation

  • Kubernetes and Docker

  • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)

  • Scripting (Python, Bash)

  Networking & Security

  • Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPN, load balancing)

  • Security best practices and compliance frameworks

Soft skills

• Leadership and mentoring abilities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Problem-solving mindset with strong crisis management capabilities

• Ability to prioritize, plan, and deliver in a fast-paced environment

• High level of rigor, ownership, and reliability

Language skill : fluent oral and written communication in French and English is mandatory
