Chanel Permanent Contract - Forecast Manager - Fragrance & Beauty - Europe - M/F/D
- Build and consolidate forecasts proposal (sales products and point of sales materials) for Travel Retail and Local Export Markets during each forecasting cycle, using sales history, market trends, marketing plans, product launches.
- Lead the monthly forecasting process, coordinating Travel retail & local markets stakeholders, external distributors and internal teams to ensure the reliability of sales forecasts and alignment with business objectives and operational timelines. Anticipate risks and opportunities related to product launches and recommend proactive adjustments to market teams.
- Monitor forecast performance indicators to ensure overall forecast consistency and provide reporting and actionable insights & recommendations to support management decisions. Ensure consistency between forecasts and budget exercises with Finance and Product category manager.
- Ensure the quality, reliability and governance of forecasting data and processes & support the maintenance and effective use of the Export Distribution database.
- Actively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of forecasting tools, identifying new opportunities to automate and optimise processes, including those involving AI.
- Working at the heart of a European Travel Retail and Local Markets environment, in close partnership with distributors and diverse internal teams.
- Growing within a culture of continuous improvement for forecasting tools and processes and a strong interest in process transformation
- Turning complex, multi-source data into clear, actionable business recommendations. Ability to connect data insights, business needs and operational decision-making.
- Bringing together diverse stakeholders around a shared, consistent forecast and work collaboratively across functions
- A fast-evolving environment where you anticipate issues and propose solutions proactively.
- A Master's degree (Bac+5) in Business or Engineering, with 5+ years of experience in sales forecasting, supply chain, business planning, business analysis or management control, ideally gained in luxury, beauty or retail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with a knowledge of Power BI and Power Query for data analysis and reporting.
- Fluent professional English, enabling you to interact with European stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, combined with rigor and autonomy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders through a collaborative approach.
- Develop strong expertise in sales forecasting within a European Travel Retail and Local Markets environment.
- Broaden your perspective through cross-functional collaboration with Product Category & Merchandising, Operations, Finance and Marketing teams.
- Shape the modernization of forecasting practices by exploring new technologies, including AI-driven tools.
