Business Development Manager

Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role In this role, you will identify and develop high-potential customers and business opportunities in emerging markets and growth technologies. You will work across teams and with distribution partners to turn promising opportunities into sustainable business growth. You will:- Identify and assess high-potential customers and new market opportunities
- Develop business cases for promising opportunities and drive them towards revenue growth
- Build the right internal and external network to successfully develop new customers
- Explore growth technologies and emerging market segments , such as robotics, AI-related applications, heat pumps, e-bikes and solar inverters
- Collaborate closely with Business Units, Marketing, Sales and distribution partners
- Take ownership of selected strategic customer opportunities in alignment with regional management
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed You are curious about new technologies and markets and enjoy turning ideas into concrete business opportunities. You combine a strong customer focus with an entrepreneurial mindset and are comfortable working across different teams and stakeholders. You are best equipped for this role if you have:- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing or a related customer-facing area
- A Master or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field of study
- Strong market awareness and an interest in emerging technologies and applications
- Ability to assess opportunities and build convincing business cases
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive , collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluency in English, French or Italian
