The Opportunity

Within an important international SAP competence center, a true internal expertise center, we are seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance in the area of SAP Sales and distribution (SD) module. You will work closely with our internal clients to analyze their business requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for improvement within the SAP SD module.
• Design and configure SD module functionalities, including Master Data, Sales order Processing, Delivery and shipping, billing and invoicing, sales support, pricing and conditions, availability check.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD with other SAP modules, such as Finance (FI), Material management (MM), and Logistics (LE).
• Lead or participate in system testing activities, including preparing test scenarios, executing tests, and resolving defects.
• Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the SAP SD system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues by analyzing system logs, debugging programs, and applying SAP notes.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP SD trends and technologies and provide recommendations for system enhancements or process improvements.
• Lead or contribute to the implementation of SAP SD best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants on the team.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant, with a deep understanding of Master Data, Sales order Processing, Delivery and shipping, billing and invoicing, sales support, pricing and conditions, availability check and strong knowledge of integration points between SD and other SAP modules, such as FI, MM, and LE.
• Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP SD module functionalities.
• Experience with SAP implementation lifecycles especially the S/4 hana, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and post-go-live support.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP SD system solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, cross-functional and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• SAP S/4 Certification in Sales ans distribution (SD) is preferred.
