On behalf of our client, a leading European B2B marketplace and a certified unicorn , we are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their central Platform Squad.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company that is revolutionizing the retail industry. As a key member of a transverse team, you will act as an internal consultant, empowering dozens of developers and ensuring the reliability of a platform used by thousands of brands and independent retailers across Europe.

Your Role and Missions

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a purely Individual Contributor with no management responsibilities. Your focus will be 100% on technical excellence and impact.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Automate Everything: Design, implement, and manage advanced CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (FluxCD) to minimize manual intervention and accelerate delivery.
• Master the Platform: Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the production infrastructure, built on GCP and Kubernetes .
• Enhance Observability: Improve and maintain the monitoring, logging, and alerting stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) to ensure operational excellence.
• Empower Engineering Teams: Act as a technical referent and internal consultant for all other squads, providing them with the tools and expertise to build and run their services efficiently.
• Reduce Toil: Proactively identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks, enabling the team to focus on high-value strategic improvements.
• Ensure Reliability: Participate in the on-call rotation to handle incidents and contribute to maintaining high availability.

\n\nProfil recherché\n The Profile We Are Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on engineer with a strong 'product' mindset and a passion for technical excellence.

Essential Requirements:

• You have more than 5 years of professional experience in a cloud-native environment, ideally with a strong background in a well-known, fast-growing scale-up.
• You possess an expert-level mastery of Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• You have proven, hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) .
• You are proficient in coding, ideally with Go , and can contribute to developing internal tooling.
• You have a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices, including GitOps (FluxCD) , Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
• You are a resident of the Paris metropolitan area and are willing to work in a hybrid model.
