Salary: £120,000 Euros + Bonus & Other Benefits

Orbis are working with a highly reputable multinational insurance firm who is looking to bring in a Director/Head of Technology to ensure the technology team are driving a significant transformation towards cloud-first, scalable, and secure technology.

As a Director of Technology, you will shape and execute the technology strategy, ensuring their local roadmap aligns with global transformation goals. You'll lead a high-performing team and collaborate with Global Product Teams across the UK, India, and Spain. With major initiatives like Azure Data Synapse, Claims Platform, Cloud Migration, and Obsolescence treatment on the horizon, this is an exciting time to join.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define & execute a business-aligned technology roadmap for CRB France

• Lead the transition to a new Target Operating Model, embedding a high-performance culture.

• Oversee strategic technology investments, improving cost efficiency from 10% to 7% of revenue.

• Manage the full application ecosystem, spanning legacy & cloud (Microsoft Azure, Broking Platforms, Workflow Tools, Data Lakes).

• Drive governance, security, compliance, and risk management across all projects.

• Collaborate with global teams, vendors, and business leaders, ensuring alignment & success

Ideal Experience

• 5+ years of senior technology leadership in a complex, business-facing application landscape.

• A strong track record in technology delivery within financial services (Insurance experience preferred).

• Proven ability to balance transformation and steady-state IT management.

• Experience with legacy system modernization & cloud adoption (Azure preferred).

• Strong strategic & budget management skills, aligning IT investments with business goals.

• Exceptional communication in French & English, able to engage executive stakeholders.

• Technical expertise across application development, integration, data & cloud technologies.
