Founded in 2020, C12 Quantum Electronics is a fast-growing start-up that recently raised EUR 18 million in 2024 to further its research in its own lab in the heart of Paris (Panthéon).

Your role in C12 Quantum Electronics

• Our software development team is looking for a new Software Engineer to join our growing team! Working under the supervision of our Head of Software Development, you will:
• Collaborate with the software team and the measurement team to enrich and maintain the measurement framework in python
• Build the software layer in charge of orchestrating the hardwares to run quantum algorithms on the C12 chip

About You

• You have 6+ years of experience in software development
• You have been working with python, other languages are welcome
• You have a physics background (studies or previous work experience)
• Hardware / embedded software development is a big plus
• You are curious and are interested in adapting to new frameworks and languages
• You have an interest in new technologies such as quantum computing
• You have a good command of English (verbal and written)

C12 Quantum Electronics' unique technology

At C12 Quantum Electronics, a qubit, the fundamental functional unit of a quantum computer, is built from an isotopically ultra-pure 12C nanotube suspended above a silicon chip containing control electrodes and a quantum communication bus.

Our spin qubits hold great promises in terms of individual control and manipulation as well as for the circuit architecture. A suspended isotopically pure 12C nanotube holds great promises in terms of stability, as it reduces all sources of decoherence (charge noise, nuclear spin noise, phonon relaxation).
