FP&A Assistant - Revenue & Marketing - Internship

Within the Finance team, the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team is responsible for developing, sharing, and securing ManoMano's revenue and profitability trajectory, in collaboration with numerous internal and external stakeholders.

As an FP&A Assistant Revenue & Marketing, your main mission will be to support the Senior FP&A Manager in charge of Revenue, Marketing, and Margin topics in all of their assignments.

You will report to the Senior FP&A Manager, Revenue & Marketing.

MISSIONS

Your main missions will consist of assisting the Senior FP&A Manager in establishing a high-quality financial partnership for the Marketing teams and supporting the management of budget processes, performance analysis, and strategic decisions related to Revenue, Marketing costs, and Customer Margin.

1. Support for FP&A Partnership for Revenue & Marketing Teams

• Support for budget process management: Assist the Senior FP&A Manager in the end-to-end budget process for your scope (annual budget, revisions/re-estimations, monthly financial reviews).

• Marketing Cost Management: Contribute to building and following up on marketing costs budget throughout the year, bridging performance on a monthly basis at both macro and granular levels. Be involved in the monthly closing process on marketing costs topics.

• Business Partnering: Help build and maintain financial models to monitor the performance of various Marketing activities and understand the financial impact of key initiatives.

• Support for the quality of financial information: Contribute to the quality of financial information related to your scope (support for the preparation of monthly accruals/provisions, variance analysis, model recalibration, etc.).

• Ad-hoc Projects: Contribute to specific financial projects to support ManoMano's growth, particularly those related to marketing effectiveness and margin improvement.

• Tool support: Assist the Senior FP&A Manager in the use and construction of our reporting and forecasting platform (Pigment).

2. Support for Business Planning and Performance Monitoring (Revenue & Margin)

• Revenue & Margin Planning: Assist in building and reviewing the business planning of ManoMano's topline (BV - Business Volume) and bottomline (Customer Margin, MVC - ManoMano Commission), in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

• Performance Monitoring: Participate in monitoring the landing of both topline and bottomline versus targets (vs Budget, vs Forecast, vs N-1) over the short (month) and longer term.

• Deep Dive Analysis: Contribute to owning and monitoring topics that strongly underlie the topline and bottomline trajectory, such as the impact of BV on advertising revenue, and the understanding of commission dynamics.

• Reporting: Participate in the production of regular performance analyses (monthly, quarterly) for the relevant stakeholders, providing relevant comments on variances and key trends.

PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Final year student (Bac+4/5) from a leading business school, engineering school, or equivalent university, with a specialization in Finance, Management Control, or Audit.

Technical Skills:

• Good command of financial modeling and analysis.

• Strong interest in performance analysis, revenue drivers, and profitability (margin) concepts.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel / Gsheet is essential.

• Knowledge of an EPM solution (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, etc.) is a plus.

Personal Qualities:

• Excellent organizational and rigorous skills (prioritization, time management, meeting deadlines).

• Great analytical skills, detail-oriented, and precise in your analysis.

• Curiosity, proactivity, and strong autonomy.

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to present financial topics simply to non-financial audiences.

• Fluent in both French and English.
